I've been going around saying "Most engrossing long fic!" in my head all day, with my head getting bigger each time, so, thank you for that. I like stories with long buildups myself, and ones with long slow payoffs, so to be compared to that kind of story is very cool.
And yeah, Pink Floyd! Wish You Were Here is my favorite, and the title of my story is a play of of the line that goes "Blue skies from pain," except that the story wasn't about that, even though, yes, there is pain. (Of course there's pain!)
