Thank you very much! I set out to write something that would help me understand how they might have fallen in love, and I picked a mental institution because I find those kinds of places fascinating. Plus the realism was key - as much as I like the evil psych doctor idea, I wanted to avoid that because it's been done (and better) elsewhere.
