I saved this until I was done with my finals, and it was a wonderful reward indeed. As soon as John pulled him out, and he made that comment about maybe needing new shoes anyway... oooh, I knew it was going to be bad. And you certainly delivered.

There was even more comforting than I was expecting, in the end! I teared up a little, when John was talking to Sam under the bed.
