Yes, I dont see having sympathy for someone who beat their child. Just...no. No circumstances, especially, IMHO, everything Sam did and said was completely understandable if not needed, could ever be enough to hurt your child like that. I just...yeah. Although I have to be completely honest and say that I hate the concept of corporal punishment even when it is not extreme. But John's behavior in this is completely uncalled for, and almost evil.
