Haha, I actually just finished that story earlier today but I felt my feedback better fit with this one, so here we are.
It's funny, usually I'm all about Dean in the fic, even though Sam is the one I relate to ridiculously well. I really enjoy this series, though. I think it's because a lot of fic dealing with the boys' childhood tends to glorify John without acknowledging the f'ed up upbringing that he exposed his kids to, but yours doesn't dance around the issue. It still breaks my heart, but in a refreshing kind of way.
