Really? Well, isn't that interesting. It certainly would have turned out to be a different kind of story if John had done that, though I've got a feeling that this version of Sam still wouldn't have told Dean anything about what happened in the fruit stand.

And yeah, the story breaks my heart too. I'm not sure what dark part of my heart it came from, but it pretty much came all of a peice.
