The premise of the panel was:

Rodney loves John because John is sexy-handsome, lithe-and-catlike, athletic, brave, and ridiculously pretty. He's also one of the Cool Kids, so, yeah, Rodney might fall hard. But Rodney is not sexy-handsome, lithe-and-catlike, athletic, brave, nor ridiculously pretty. He's the Geek, so why is John drawn to him? Come argue your point!

Going to Escapade - SGA/Stargate Panels that Didn't make the Cut

I believe in Democracy and that the majority shall rule! But I was sad to see that the two SGA/Stargate panels didn't make the top ten list.

So, to honor free will, and free speech, and McShep, I would like to ask those folks who were interested in the SGA/Stargate panels if we might arrange our own time to talk about SGA/Stargate - maybe in the bar, or someone's room? A hallway? On the patio? I have watched episodes and vids and read fic and am yearning to talk about them and hear about them, and get updates on great fic and new vids that are out there.

Atlantis Big Bang 2011 - Done!

Yes, I finished. Not sure how. The story still needs work, but it's all there. Right now the artists are reviewing the summaries, and I hope mine isn't too boring or misleading. I put Rodney and John through the mill, but they come out alright at the other end.

Working on My Other Big Bang

I don't know why I do this to myself, but I went and signed up for the SGA big bang as well as the SPN one. I'm thrilled to be writing in a new fandom, though it's harder than I remember getting a grasp on what makes these characters tick.

John and Rodney Fall in Love - SGA Thoughts and Ponderings

So in the last 9 months....or maybe even longer, I've been reading and watching a lot of Stargate: Atlantis. I've seen all the episodes at least once, some of them twice, and realize that a Stargate (aka The Ring of the Ancestors) can take you pretty much anywhere, and bring you home again. You might meet some folks who live in a backwater hamlet that resembles nothing so much as a Ren Fair, and you are sure to meet trouble along the way.

SGA Review: Coming Home; The General and Mr. Sheppard

Amothea had been bugging me for ages to read SGA, and I finally broke down (without having watched a single SGA ep) and read something called "Indelible" which was about John taking corporal punishment on Rodney's behalf on (yet another!) alien planet with strange taboos that the team unwittingly breaks. I thought it was a pretty good story, right up my alley and all and I asked amothea if there was any more like it.
