oh yeah, I know the heat. I live in Tennessee, and in mid-summer, the heat's been known to go sentient:) It sinks in, it's wet and clinging and there's sounds in the air, you know, the cicadas and the way they drone, and if you're anywhere near water you'll hear frogs dotted all around. With no air conditioning you get to feeling weak-- sapped and boneless. Tempers flare. People react rather than think, sometimes. It feels like everything's on the surface. I was born here, and it all feels like part of me at this point, even though I can get away from it now. Still, even inside in mid-summer it feels like you're hiding out from it more than anything.
Your Sam voice IS amazing. I feel like I'm looking through a young person's eyes and hate that I forgot so much of how it feels.
