Yeah, I'm more than a little weary of MW. Last year the flight from Florida was SUCH a horror, and then when I get to the con, there are fewer fen, fewer good panels, half the doors there used to be, and the vidshow was pathetic! I get a better vid show at Vidcon where only 50 people show up. And with the stupid room lottery and all, I said- why am I putting up with all this hassle for a diminished con? So I'm setting my sights elsewhere.
Thanks for the recs in that regard, although Bascon doesn't seem to have anything set for 2010 yet. I do love the idea of an all slash con, so Escapade could be great for me.
