I really enjoyed this, very atmospheric and the pics and illustrations set the mood. The legend of the Japanese ghost was fascinating and different. I loved the scenes' descriptions of her with Sam and Dean. Actually, the last couple of chapters were they are in the snow and driving in it made me long for the snow in Colorado. I can't wait for this season.
I often travel through Limon on the way to Denver from the eastern plains and can totally picture Sam and Dean driving through a place like that...they would avoid the I-25 corridor.
The scene with the boots was sad and so Dean especially early seasons Dean and how he saved Sam and took him back made the fic for me.
I enjoyed reading your author's notes and how you travelled to the places mentioned in the fic.
