How kind of you to ask. It's a bit of both, really. I had been through Mammoth Spring in a road trip in 2006 and then through Shamrock and Canadian in 2007. At the time, I'd not taken very many pictures, but I always thought Mammoth Spring and Canadian were quite unique in relation to the area surrounding them; there was something different about them. Naturally, Sam and Dean had to go to both places, so this year, I went on road trips for the very purpose of taking many pictures and walking around. Mammoth Spring was over Memorial Day and Canadian was over the 4th of July.
