Wonderful, evocative story. The Winchester's are such complex characters. You did a beautiful job showing this. I love John, and you really captured him. His temper, stubborness, and his love. Yes, he lost his temper with Sam, but yes, he did his best, waiting outside the bathroom. Sam may have only been able to see anger at 13, but you painted the picture of love warring with fear. John truly doesn't know what to do with Sam, other than prepare him and keep him safe. And I feel so sorry for John. Great story.
