I don't really write recaps of conventions, but I know plenty of people do. I did write one time, but mostly I lemented the fact that I had left behind a great party that was surely SURELY going on without me! Unless of course something really cool happens....then I'll write about that. : D

Nice pictures. I especially love the one where he's all caked in mud and has a scratch on his cheek. He looks like Dad forced him into a few sparring matches with Dean and he lost. Poor puppy. :D

My thoughts EXACTLY. He looks just the right age and size, sorta gangly with his limbs going everywhere - he hates training! You can see that. Especially sparring with Dean. Later, of course, he became quite adept at it..... : D

Media West is a long running fan convention that takes place every Memorial Day in Lansing, MI. It's run for fans, by fans. There are no actors or anything. We go to panels and have serious discussions about The Dad and whether Sam secretly loved bow hunting. There are all kinds of fandoms represented there...from XFiles to Lost to Starsky and Hutch. A thousand people come and it's loads of fun. Last year was my first year. Here's the link:
