One of the most important parts of this story to me was picking the right, downtrodden little location, with access to Platte by foot. I thought of using this dear little stone cabin that was quite small, but it was too nice. Instead, I picked this one.

Here is Baseline looking east, if you were walking from the 7-11 in town towards the trailer.

Here's a picture of Baseline looking east a little further along, and just at the little driveway there, on the right, is where you would turn if you were driving the Impala...

In keeping with the road theme for a bit, here is Cherryvale, looking north. If you kept on this road, you would see the southern portion of Baseline on your right, which is where the trailer is. Then, about 100 yards or so along, you would see the northern portion of Baseline, which is where the school is.

Here is the trailer that John rented during January of 1996. This is a view of it from the road.

Here is a view of the trailer from the snow covered parking lot. If you were driving the Impala, you would park it right next to the little overhang, which is, alas, not big enough to shelter Dean's best girl.

Here is a view of the other side of the trailer....

And here is a view from another angle of what it looks like between the trailers.
