So, recently I expressed to SOMEONE that I really wish I had a paid account so that I could have a bazillion userpics at my disposal, because there were so many pretty ones out there, especially ones made by my ENABLER shea_fleur . She sees the world in so many different ways, so uniquely and beautifully, she makes ME see it in different ways.

So then, lo, SOMEONE went ahead and gave me a paid account so I could use all those beautiful pics, when I opened the email telling me that SOMEONE anonymously had done this, I almost lost it, it took me five full minutes to pull myself together so I could start scheming a way to get back at this SOMEONE, who, I think would like to remain publicly unknown, but whose identity is known to me because I'm just that smart.

So now I have two problems, the first of which is that those wonderful pics I want to use are at my computer at home so I have to wait to upload and use them, and second, what can I do to show this SOMEONE how kind this is, how utterly out of the blue, how TIMELY it is, because it made everything better. It makes me want to dance and sing and do some spontaneous kindness just BECAUSE.

HEY! I can at that. My LJ has taken on a life of it's own too, there are no ads and it looks different, very swank. I will look at the poll tonight, okay, and see how it works.

The poll looks pretty easy...I just need to figure out some language to use to make it interesting. And just radio buttons, right? So that they can pick Sam or Dean? Maybe I ought to add John, too, just for fun.

I got to chap 23 by midnight and my eyes were burning, but it's GREAT!!!

I stayed up until 4AM!!! because I couldn't put it down, thankfully was stuck in San Antonio so no need to worry about waking up early but yeah I had a hard time putting the story down once i started.

well don't forget we have disagreed on ONE story...so it's possible. though to be fair I don't think I Instant Recced that one story. And you haven't finished reading Fetters of Fenir which is odd because Missing Persons is kind of the same type of story but not? I think Fetter's is darker and more bleak in some ways. ah...it's just not fair to compare across two completely different fandoms. I'm just trying to figure out why Missing Persons works for you but not Fetters.
