I remember I was new to SGA fandom, and was reading Seperis's rec list. At the top of the list was a story called "An Affair to Remember." Since I was reading everything at the time, I went and took a look at the story and was dismayed to find that it was a) AU, and b) based on an old movie that I'd never seen. I was sorely disappointed, and besides while the art was pretty, it showed Rodney in a wheelchair! (If you'd seen the movie, you'd know why.)

You ever notice how you get a taste in your mouth that's craving moon pies? Or spaghetti with butter? Or even just a cool dish of ice cream? Well, the same thing happens to me in fic, I want something specific, and craving it, go in search for it. This last week it was slavefic.

SGA Vid Rec: The Captain

Yes, I took the week off from writing, so I could enjoy other people's stuff, and boy is there a lot of stuff out there. Among them, this catchy vid by lilly_the_kid, which you can view here. It's a story about Rodney in John's world of Atlantis, where bad things happen, and then they get separated and then John rescues Rodney. It's done with fast clips, tells a story, and has a happy ending! What more could you want? I really enjoyed this vid.
