So I've been Kripked. Or at least I think I have, if I understand the meaning of the term, which is, I wrote a story, and now, one of the upcoming eps has that exact SAME plot!!! Or at least a really similar one.

Here's my story synopsis:

Phantom Load
Dean and Sam return to Boulder, CO, where they investigate a haunted school. The job seems simple enough to Sam, who has good, although vague, memories of living in Boulder back in 1992, when John Winchester rented a single-wide trailer, and the boys were able to walk home from school together. Dean, however, has altogether different memories, far less pleasant and far more damaging. It's during the investigation that Sam discovers the secret that Dean doesn't realize he's been hiding.

(Basically the boys go back to Dean's Jr. High school, to check out reports that it's haunted. And of course the story is about more than just the solving of the case.)

And here's what Padalecki has to say about ep 4.13:

"JP: Um, and so it’s really cool and then episode 11 was kind of a crazy, scary house out in the woods you know where a family tries to go and try and fix the family problems and then people start vanishing and disappearing. Um, episode 13 Sam and Dean go back to one of the schools they went to growing up because there’s been a haunting or a demon and they have to figure out what’s going on. We’re actually going to see some of high school Sam and Dean in episode 13.
HOST : That’s awesome.
JP: Yeah I just read the script again today and really cool man, alot of really cool moments and alot of things I think the audience is gonna like. When I read those episodes where you go back and see young Sam and Dean, I get really excited about that. I’m like “Oh cool! I can’t wait, yada yada.” So I think the audience will like it too. [And] we also learn more about Sam and Dean’s past,we get to go back and see them in high school so it’s really cool."

It's just really cool! Or not, depending on how you look at it. Either I could be really pissed or really flattered. But seriously, the idea of them going back to a school they used to go to because it's haunted? How common is that? I thought it was pretty unique, and had not read any fanfic on that particular subject. But I could be wrong, there could be tons and mine is just one among many.

Here's the link the whole interview, nicely transcribed:

I LOVED the 2nd young Sam. The first young Sam was good too, but not nearly as engaging as the second one so I'm glad to see he'll be back. (Won't he?)

I also love the Dean that they use, I've grown rather fond of him. Why don't you like him?

I know the kid that played young Sam in the Christmas episode is going to be playing teen Sam in the upcoming episode (the actor is younger than Sam's 14, but it's mentioned that Sam's small for his age in the script, so it works--and how funny is that, Sam being called a 'midget' at 14. LOL).

Oh yeah. I was bad. I went to look at the sides. It didn't give away much, it was only a snippet, and all I had to say was, "HEY! FANFIC HAS WRITTEN THIS SCENE A HUNDRED TIMES!" But it will be nice to see it on screen.

Yes, he'll be back and i'm excited about that ep. I saw his recent pics - he looks good!

Why don't you like him?
I was ok with him but in 308 i didn't like how he played one important scene - that's my only complain :) I'm not fond of him - not my type i suppose (gawds, i'm no perv i didn't mean it in sexual way).

Was it the scene where he yells at Sam and tells him never to talk to him about mom?

Yep. Exactly that scene. The way he was talking the part about his mom esp. it wasn't natural for my ears - i can give him slack but he's not new to this business so i'd prefer for him to do his job better.
