 Spoiler for ep.....

So I'm wondering if it was just me....during that last phone call from John to Dean, John says, "I love you, boy."

And since the monster of the week had a tendency to add, "Come to me," I found myself not paying attention to the plot at ALL at that point.

I think my brain broke something, it jumped to daddycest so fast. I'm sorry, but it's true. Dean, when he got the first phone call, was so happy to have Dad's orders to follow again. Plus, don't dads say, "I love you, son," rather than "boy?" I must tell you, the word "boy" is one of the most provocative words to me. Along with "back" and "whipping" - you say any one of those and I'm squirming in my seat.

I could see (in my pervy brain) this whole little dark story unfold before me....where Dad and Dean had had something, some kind of relationship, maybe sexual, maybe just the leaning thing...but before they could, you know, go all the way and fuck, Dad died. So here is Dad, after death, acknowledging that relationship. Maybe they used to have sex in the dark, and Dean needed to hear those words. Now he hears them.

"I love you, boy, come to me." A dark humid motel room...Sam gone. Rusty bedsprings. Outlines and profiles. Hands. The scruff of beard and a whiskey soft voice.

I'm not really sure how I'm supoosed to go to work today with that in my head.

Jesus, this whole conversation has me distracted now.

Tell ME. I've got John's voice in my head over and over and over...."I love you. You're my boy." The fact that he said it THAT way, yeah, there's loads of meaning in it. Plus the word boy, in addition to the personal button it presses for me, has connotations of ownership and domination

The kisses would be hot. And powerful. And now I need a cold shower.
